Rangers Playoff Series May be in Danger because of Tigers' Win

The first two games of the American League Championship Series went great for the Rangers two wins in two games. The second of which was won by an extra innings walk- off grand slam (the first in MLB postseason history). However, last night the Rangers were defeated by the opposing Tigers after 11 hits, 3 of which were home runs, for a final score of 5-2 in favor of the Tigers.

While the Tigers dominated the game last night, injuries continue to hurt their lineup. The Tigers have lost Ordonez due to a fractured ankle and a strain in the oblique muscle has held back Delmon Young. but the Rangers are not the only ones dealing with injury. Rangers' third baseman Adrian Beltre was hit below the knee cap and has a contusion on his left knee. Both rosters have confirmed that both Young and Beltre are set to start tonight but their performance will no doubt be hindered by their injuries. Can the Rangers hold on and get the two more wins needed to finish the series and head to the World Series or will the Tigers come back in the series to move on? Guess you'll just have to watch and find out.

  1. You stole my story. And I'm pretty sure your first sentence is grammatically incorrect.
