Titans Receiver Injured

The Titans receiver tore the ACL on his right knee and will need surgery that will end the season for him. The news came at the wrong time as the Titans are tied with Houston atop the AFC. Team officials are looking for a replacement and expect one by Wednesday.
The first-round pick out of Rutgers in 2009 was off to the best start of his career with his 289 yards receiving ranked fifth in the NFL even though his knee buckled underneath him in the second quarter of Sunday's 17-14 win over Denver.
Matt Hesselbeck, the quarterback said "Personally from the day I got here, he was one of the guys that I really tried to invest a lot of my time and energy into, He's probably the most talented player on this team at any position. He could be really special. I think he's showed glimpses of that, and he was really on fire and off to a great start. So for me, all that work all that investment is going to have to wait."
Tennessee is currently seventh in the NFL, averaging about 310.7 yards passing per game with their quarterback off to his best start of his career in his 13th season. For more click here. picture from http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/football/nfl/09/26/kenny-britt.ap/

Ichiro Suzuki breaks MLB Record

Just two weeks ago Ichiro broke a simply amazing record of Major League Baseball. On September 13 Ichiro got his 200th hit of this Major League Baseball season, making this his ninth season in a row with 200+ hits per season. This ninth season was season that broke the previous record of eight seasons by Willie Keeler. I happen to be a personal fan of Ichiro. I believe that he has potential to become the player with the most all time career hits in Major League Baseball. Ichiro's new record is especially amazing because he has only spent half of his career in  Major League Baseball. He spent the first 8 years of his career in the professional league in Japan, where he is from. Considering he has only been in Major League Baseball for 11 of his 19 years playing pro ball, his number of hits is very significant.

Ichiro has been playing with the Seattle Mariners for all the years he has been in Major League Baseball. He has been on the American All-Star team every year he has been in MLB baseball and he also has ten golden glove awards to show he can field along with hit.

Saints Amazing Comeback

The Texans thought they had the Saints against the ropes until they were too confident of themselves and made mistake right before the game was over. Matt Schaub threw a interception which changed the score of 26-17 to 32-26. After the interception the Saints rushed a 93 yards TD to finish the game with a score of 40-33. After the interception, the Texans couldn't really recover the games momentum which leads them to lose the game. A possibility that the Saints won the game is they have what it takes to finish a game a lesson that the Texas haven't learned yet. This isn't the first time Texans had to stall after a quick start to the season. What they have to make sure is that the brutal start doesn't turn into something much worse. Although it's a bad start for the Texans, it's a great way to start for the Saints. Even though they lost to the Packers for their first game of the season they start to make a comeback with the victory over Bears and their triumph with the Texans. We could hope that Saints keep going down the victory road and the Texans make a comeback.
