Ichiro Suzuki breaks MLB Record

Just two weeks ago Ichiro broke a simply amazing record of Major League Baseball. On September 13 Ichiro got his 200th hit of this Major League Baseball season, making this his ninth season in a row with 200+ hits per season. This ninth season was season that broke the previous record of eight seasons by Willie Keeler. I happen to be a personal fan of Ichiro. I believe that he has potential to become the player with the most all time career hits in Major League Baseball. Ichiro's new record is especially amazing because he has only spent half of his career in  Major League Baseball. He spent the first 8 years of his career in the professional league in Japan, where he is from. Considering he has only been in Major League Baseball for 11 of his 19 years playing pro ball, his number of hits is very significant.

Ichiro has been playing with the Seattle Mariners for all the years he has been in Major League Baseball. He has been on the American All-Star team every year he has been in MLB baseball and he also has ten golden glove awards to show he can field along with hit.
